No-cost object restore solution for Active Directory
View and recover deleted items using Microsoft's Tombstone Reanimation interfaces.
Object Restore for Active Directory is a no-cost, graphical utility that enables you to instantly recover deleted objects in a Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 environment without rebooting a domain controller. A six-month key is built into the tool when it’s downloaded, so you will be prompted to re-register on our site when that six-month period has expired.
Our full AD Recovery solution, Recovery Manager for Active Directory, is also available to quickly highlight objects in AD that have been changed or deleted since your last backup.
Please note: Object Restore for Active Directory is unsupported freeware. The license key expires at the end of six months. To renew, you must uninstall the product and reinstall.
- Avoid domain controller downtime – Allow administrators to view and un-delete AD objects without rebooting the domain controller with Object Restore’s graphical interface.
- Easily restore deleted objects – Reanimate deleted AD objects with Microsoft's tombstone reanimation feature in Windows Server 2003 and 2008.
- Simply step up to Recovery Manager for Active Directory – Quickly and easily step up to Dell’s full AD recovery solution, Recovery Manager for Active Directory, when you need the ability to recover items including attributes, group memberships, SIDHistory, passwords, group policies, comparisons and rollback of changes.
