The Server Administrator console must be meet these minimum requirements:

  • Windows XP 32-bit Service Pack 3, Windows XP 64-bit Service Pack 2, Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1
  • Active Directory domain joined computer
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
  • A domain account must used to run Server Administrator and to perform scans
  • If the firewall is enabled, port 14520 must be configured to allow outbound connections

For the computer where the Server Administrator database resides:

  • SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3, SQL Server 2005 Express Service Pack 3, SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008 Express R2

For each node, you can select the Risk Summary tab to see a summary of the risks found for that node. The farm Risk Summary shows all the risks associated to that farm including any risks associated to the farm’s servers, services, security, web applications, and customizations. View the risks by severity and select any part of the report to drill down and see more details about the found risks.
