Acquisitions

Dell Software - Dell Software's simple yet powerful IT management solutions and services provide scalable, integrated solutions to drive value and accelerate results. By listening to our customers over the years, we continually identified areas to expand our offerings to help organizations of all sizes manage and protect applications, systems, devices and data – easily and securely. In some cases, we have acquired outstanding companies with expertise in those areas as well as capabilities that dramatically reduce complexity. We have always aimed to better serve the customers of the companies we acquired by preserving the characteristics that made the companies successful, while leveraging our strengths to grow the business and expand our offerings to our customers globally.

On June 20, 2016, Francisco Partners, Elliott Management Corporation and Dell announced they have signed a definitive agreement for Francisco Partners and Elliott to acquire the Dell Software Group.
